Skate Parks

When people first started riding skateboards in the 1950s, there were no special places for them to skate. Because of this, skateboarding was done mostly on sidewalks and streets. This all changed with the creation of skate parks. Skaters now had a place to practice their sport of choice in peace! This book traces the beginning of skate parks all the way to the present day plans for the skate parks of the future.
