Horseshoe Bats
Students will learn all about the exciting world of horseshoe bats through age-appropriate text and full-color photographs. There are 69 species of horseshoe bats and students will learn what makes these bats different and what they have in common. Students will also learn about the different ways that horseshoe bats catch their food--gleaning, aerial hawking, and flycatching--all while echolocating through their noses!
