Exploring Habitats
Habitats are the distinct places where plants and animals live. This globe-trekking set focuses on the animals that call certain specialized habitats home, such as caves, coral reefs, and deserts. Each book introduces the habitat and some of its unique features, and then students explore the animals that help make up that habitat. Studying life science, biodiversity, ecosystems, and animals was never so interesting for young people.

Series Review: Exploring Habitats"The colorful and attractive layout of each volume emphasizes the interrelatedness of species within their environment...Sharp color photographs provide visual interest. Text is arranged in photo caption boxes or is well divided into frames spaced between the photographs in a visually pleasing array. Loads of information is packed into fairly short sentences, containing vocabulary that can easily be read by second and third graders."
